Rehearsal dinner: Lovely evening, elegant long table, candlelight and tons of speeches at the best restaurant in San Jose del Cabo, Manuel’s.  Our group was personally welcomed and served by the Chef Manuel and his wife Virny. As always, they make you feel at home and give you a royal service.

Wedding Ceremony: We chose the Tres Palmas lawn at the One and Only Palmilla. This was the perfect combination of privacy,  beautiful ocean view and  comfort; not having to go on the sand…

Wedding Reception: After an excellent dinner by Chef Larbi Dahrouch, everyone danced at the Bahia Ballroom.

The great team who made this wedding possible: Oxten, they were in charge of the draping and their work is impeccable. Flowers arrangements were designed by Pina, that Chuppa is pure romance! DJ Adan made everyone dance. Last but not least, the Groups and Special events department at One and Only Palmilla, gracias!

I like the simplicity and fresh look of this wedding. For Courtney & Jeff, it was clear from the very begging, they wanted to have fun and be relaxed during their wedding. They decided to stay 2 weeks for their destination wedding in Cabo and they enjoyed every minute of it. A bref recap of the festivities:

2 nights ago, we were invited to experience the new restaurant Flavor. I am very excited to have such a nice place in down town Cabo. The food is not only great and tasty but the combination of flavors and style are really unique. The location couldn’t be better: besides Pink kitty, few steps from Mandala Club and Squit Roe.

Where: Cabo San Lucas.

Size: sits 70 guests with existing furniture, up to 100 with different setting.

What for: A perfect choice for a welcome party or rehearsal dinner.

Style: Trendy, stylish, modern.

Food: Combination of styles, great tapas, fresh salads & ceviches, exquisite pastas.

Sarai and her awesome team were truly a godsend from the heavens above! She turned what I had envisioned growing up to be my dream wedding into reality this last May 8th.

I was very specific on what I wanted. I didn’t want a beach wedding. I imagined a semi-formal wedding that overlooked the ocean with a sunset ceremony and a moonlit reception. And most importantly, I had about 100 guests who would all fly in ready to party and strict time restrictions on music would simply not work. I spoke with many wedding planners in Cabo and I was beginning to think that my vision was impossible to achieve. But I was determined. And then I came across Signature Weddings along my search. From the very first moment I spoke with Sarai over the phone, somehow my nerves seemed to be reassured by her calming voice and soothing manner. My husband and I had a long engagement of almost two years so I really developed a good relationship with her via email. I really came to appreciate how organized and timely she was from start to finish. She is incredibly responsive and has exceptional attention to detail. Her honesty is refreshing and genuine. After we discussed our budget, she gave us a comprehensive wedding estimation. She was realistic and never added extra fluff to her presentation. Needless to say, there were unexpected challenges and of course costs that arose along the way but Sarai always somehow seemed to work out all the kinks. She always advocated for us to maximize what we got for our money. She is well respected in that business and has developed great connections so she was able to offer us high quality options that allowed us to make informed decisions.

I admit that I am a difficult person to impress but down to the last detail, it was about as perfect as I could have ever dreamed my wedding could ever be. Sarai and her team without a doubt far exceeded my highest expectation. Her hard work was clearly evident in how smoothly everything flowed from beginning to end. Above all, everybody including the bride and groom had an amazing time. We couldn’t get our guests to stop dancing. I’m not sure if it was the 20 minute fire dancing show, or the amazing reception entrees, or the 125ml Cabo Wabo Tequila bottles we gave away as favors that Sarai all helped us plan, but our guests couldn’t stop telling us how they could never attend another wedding for the rest of their lives without comparing it to our extraordinary celebration. Even down to the eggplant ribbon that Sarai wore around her shoe to perfectly match the color theme of my wedding was testimony to how she sincerely invests all her time and efforts to make your dream wedding come to life. It is clear that she takes pride in her work and truly finds what she does for others rewarding. It has been my pleasure and a privilege to work with someone so talented and kind at heart. We thank you for the bottom of our hearts Sarai for making our dreams come true.

Last weekend, there was a very intimate and special wedding that took place. Jill & Michael decided to exchange vows at their family vacation house located in the beautiful and exclusive El Dorado golf and beach club. Only their closest friends were part of the celebration. We hired a local string trio, a great photographer, Francisco Estrada and our favorite minister, Marco Arechiga to complete this very meaningful gathering which ended with a beautiful ceremony! At the bride’s request, the ceremony was held in the morning so they could all spend the day celebrating by the pool. But it didn’t end there. In the evening, a catered dinner was organized for even more fun and celebration!

We recently returned from our fantastic wedding at Esperanza Resort and cannot thank Sarai Flores and her team at Signature Weddings enough for creating and orchestrating the perfect destination wedding. How many brides can say they didn’t have to worry the day of their wedding? Very few! From our very first meeting, I knew that everything would be coordinated beautifully, nothing would be forgotten, and I could just enjoy the best day of my life (truly the BEST day of my life). We literally handed her our wedding and let her work her magic. She exceeded our expectations!

If you are considering hiring a coordinator, Sarai Flores and Signature Weddings is the ONLY way to go! It was the best decision we made during the whole process.

Why a destination wedding? Jenny & Brant chose a destination wedding because they wanted their wedding to be small, intimate, special, beautiful, relaxed, and FUN! And Cabo was the perfect place for that!

Why Cabo? The couple chose Cabo because the travel is easy, and it has so many beautiful locations. “The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, but still classy and cool, which is exactly what we wanted.” Besides, they think people in Cabo are very friendly and they feel welcome and safe every time they come.

Accommodations: We arranged 2 “room blocks” for guests to have different options, one at O&O Palmilla and the other at Sheraton Hacienda del Mar.

The concept: Beautiful, elegant and modern are the words that best describe the ambiance. White flowers were selected for the ceremony and light pink peonies and green hydrangeas embellished the reception.

The vendors: Elena Damy was in charge of the floral design. A mariachi band was hired to perform during the ceremony, and the leading voice was the singer Sarah Fuselier, a friend of the family. The Kilometro Band livened up the party and kept guests dancing all night. Photographers Sam Schultze and Jeff Scott flew from the US to capture the wedding.

The ceremony: Jenny & Brant exchanged vows at South Beach, one of the most beautiful venues in Cabo. Reverend Will Smith flew from Texas to conduct the ceremony.

The rehearsal dinner: Cabo de Sol Club House was the perfect location for a memorable dinner full of moving speeches.

The challenge: Initially, it was finding the right venues for 3 functions, welcome cocktail, rehearsal dinner and wedding festivities. “If you are flexible with dates, it is not a problem, but if you have a short engagement and have a particular date in mind, like we did, it was a little challenging. All worked out beautifully though.” The other most difficult thing was organizing all the details for the transportation. This was definitely the most time consuming.

The reward: “The most pleasant part for me was having Sarai as my representative on site there in Cabo. There was no problem that was too big for her. It was such a relief to have Sarai to speak the language and to secure the best of everything from the musicians to the food selections. She was always available to Jenny and me and took care of our every need.”

The location: Marquis Hotel, Los Cabos

Why a destination wedding? Lindsay and Fisher chose a destination wedding because they loved the idea of it. “It’s so special to only be able to invite a select number of people and have them fly out of the country to see you exchange your vows.” Lindsay believes destination weddings are fun for everyone because guests get to make a vacation out of it, while the bride and groom are able to spend extra time with their friends and family.

Why Cabo? The couple chose Cabo because they had great memories from the numerous vacations they had spent there. Also, Cabo was only a short flight away for almost everyone attending, since most of their guests were from Texas and California. “There’s also something out of the ordinary getting married at sunset, overlooking the ocean.”

Accommodations: All the guests were staying at Marquis Hotel. This made festivities and organization much easier.

The concept: Lindsay was clear, “Everything must be white!” The ceremony flowers, reception centerpieces and ballroom décor were all the work of Elena Damy, contemporary florist designer.

The vendors: The pair chose local vendors recommended by Sarai. However, their photographer, Glen Johnson, flew in from Texas to capture the event.

The ceremony: The couple exchanged vows at sunset on the hotel’s most beautiful terrace, under an arch of suspended roses.

The rehearsal dinner: Closest friends and family enjoyed a magnificent night at Edith’s Restaurant. Food and décor were Mexican, and margaritas flowed freely the whole night.

The challenge: Lindsay and her mother found that relying on e-mail was the biggest challenge, since it made it envisioning the final results difficult. They were only able to travel to Cabo once prior to the wedding to review details and do the tasting.

The reward: “The best part of the wedding was seeing the final result! Every single detail about our wedding was everything and more than we could have ever expected or wanted. The communication with the hotel and on Sarai’s part was exceptional. If we ever did it over, we wouldn’t change one thing.”
