Always thrilled to share a beautiful wedding! The great pictures were taken by the warm hearted and talented Alec & T. a joy to work with!
Here some other details about a fabulous wedding weekend celebration:
Number of guests: 50
Rehearsal dinner: Lovely evening, elegant long table, candlelight and tons of speeches at the best restaurant in San Jose del Cabo, Manuel’s. Our group was personally welcomed and served by the Chef Manuel and his wife Virny. As always, they make you feel at home and give you a royal service.
Wedding Ceremony: We chose the Tres Palmas lawn at the One and Only Palmilla. This was the perfect combination of privacy, beautiful ocean view and comfort; not having to go on the sand…
Wedding Reception: After an excellent dinner by Chef Larbi Dahrouch, everyone danced at the Bahia Ballroom.
The great team who made this wedding possible: Oxten, they were in charge of the draping and their work is impeccable. Flowers arrangements were designed by Pina, that Chuppa is pure romance! DJ Adan made everyone dance. Last but not least, the Groups and Special events department at One and Only Palmilla, gracias!
Enjoy!

Of course you want your wedding to be beautiful, of course you want to make it fun, yet you also want to get details your guests have never seen, unique touches, and most of all you want it personal. The answer is easy, but the process takes a little bit longer. The best way to make your wedding unique is to have details that say something about YOU BOTH, and about no one else. It’s not about lavish ideas or amazing budgets -though sometimes this helps!-, but about finding what makes sense with you and your lifestyle as a couple. It’s showing your guests that you care about them. It’s having a wedding that is both a celebration of love and also a gesture of your appreciation for your family and friends. So, how to make it work?
Talk, talk, talk. That’s always my advice. Before choosing your venue, wedding vendors or wedding planner, you and your fiancé should take a moment to talk and prioritize what matters most to you both. Then, look inside your hearts and ask yourselves: “What makes me smile? What makes me dream? How do I want to remember my wedding?” Only at that point can you start thinking about colors and what they represent to you, about music and the songs you would love to dance to, etc. Details will come soon after that: What are your sources of inspiration? What elements do you want to incorporate? What textures have a meaning to you? Be careful of just following trends. You don’t want to watch your wedding video 10 years later and realize it was TOO 2010!
Enjoy the planning!

I like the simplicity and fresh look of this wedding. For Courtney & Jeff, it was clear from the very begging, they wanted to have fun and be relaxed during their wedding. They decided to stay 2 weeks for their destination wedding in Cabo and they enjoyed every minute of it. A bref recap of the festivities:
Rehearsal Dinner: Heavy appetizers, pizzas and beers at the Baja brewery in Cabo San Lucas
Ceremony: Casual setting on the beach
Reception: 12 Tribes Restaurant
Entertainment: Fire Dancers & DJ Adan

2 nights ago, we were invited to experience the new restaurant Flavor. I am very excited to have such a nice place in down town Cabo. The food is not only great and tasty but the combination of flavors and style are really unique. The location couldn’t be better: besides Pink kitty, few steps from Mandala Club and Squit Roe.
Where: Cabo San Lucas.
Size: sits 70 guests with existing furniture, up to 100 with different setting.
What for: A perfect choice for a welcome party or rehearsal dinner.
Style: Trendy, stylish, modern.
Food: Combination of styles, great tapas, fresh salads & ceviches, exquisite pastas.
Enjoy!

20 days ago we were in Cayman islands, attending Engage!10, a luxury wedding summit, created by Rebecca Grinnals and Kathryn Arce of Engaging Concepts . Here is a brief recap of the event.
Why: Because we want to learn, we like meeting fun and intelligent people and because we love what we do!
Who: The rock stars of the wedding industry: Colin Cowie, Marcy Blum, Darcy Miller, Todd Fiscus, and the most talented and creative people, including us! Signature Weddings and One & Only Palmilla were the only Mexican companies attending Engage!10.
What we learned: Los Cabos is right on the top, competing with la creme de la creme of the luxury destinations. Mexico is the most popular place for destination weddings away.
What this means to Signature Weddings: We are heading in the right direction, our standards are up to par, our resources are countless and our creativity grows every moment, making our style unique.
Saludos!

Sarai and her awesome team were truly a godsend from the heavens above! She turned what I had envisioned growing up to be my dream wedding into reality this last May 8th.
I was very specific on what I wanted. I didn’t want a beach wedding. I imagined a semi-formal wedding that overlooked the ocean with a sunset ceremony and a moonlit reception. And most importantly, I had about 100 guests who would all fly in ready to party and strict time restrictions on music would simply not work. I spoke with many wedding planners in Cabo and I was beginning to think that my vision was impossible to achieve. But I was determined. And then I came across Signature Weddings along my search. From the very first moment I spoke with Sarai over the phone, somehow my nerves seemed to be reassured by her calming voice and soothing manner. My husband and I had a long engagement of almost two years so I really developed a good relationship with her via email. I really came to appreciate how organized and timely she was from start to finish. She is incredibly responsive and has exceptional attention to detail. Her honesty is refreshing and genuine. After we discussed our budget, she gave us a comprehensive wedding estimation. She was realistic and never added extra fluff to her presentation. Needless to say, there were unexpected challenges and of course costs that arose along the way but Sarai always somehow seemed to work out all the kinks. She always advocated for us to maximize what we got for our money. She is well respected in that business and has developed great connections so she was able to offer us high quality options that allowed us to make informed decisions.
I admit that I am a difficult person to impress but down to the last detail, it was about as perfect as I could have ever dreamed my wedding could ever be. Sarai and her team without a doubt far exceeded my highest expectation. Her hard work was clearly evident in how smoothly everything flowed from beginning to end. Above all, everybody including the bride and groom had an amazing time. We couldn’t get our guests to stop dancing. I’m not sure if it was the 20 minute fire dancing show, or the amazing reception entrees, or the 125ml Cabo Wabo Tequila bottles we gave away as favors that Sarai all helped us plan, but our guests couldn’t stop telling us how they could never attend another wedding for the rest of their lives without comparing it to our extraordinary celebration. Even down to the eggplant ribbon that Sarai wore around her shoe to perfectly match the color theme of my wedding was testimony to how she sincerely invests all her time and efforts to make your dream wedding come to life. It is clear that she takes pride in her work and truly finds what she does for others rewarding. It has been my pleasure and a privilege to work with someone so talented and kind at heart. We thank you for the bottom of our hearts Sarai for making our dreams come true.
Love,
Donna & John

You are already a destination bride! Congratulate yourself, as you will offer your guests an amazing experience and one-of-a-kind wedding! Yet don’t forget that the day ultimately is about you and your beloved. So before booking your venue or even your wedding planner, take a few days to identify your wedding essentials. Here are some helpful questions to guide you:
- Do you want to exchange vows on the beach? Or do you prefer to enjoy the view from a terrace or a lawn?
- How big is your bridal party?
- Are you religious or spiritual? How long will your ceremony last?
- Are you a resort bride? Or would prefer the intimacy of a private villa or restaurant?
- Why is a destination wedding important for you?
- How do you want to remember your wedding?
- What role will your family play? You’ll find that tasks are different when planning a destination wedding.
- Be very honest about the way your budget will function. Spend on things you value but don’t forget to ask the experts how to get your money’s worth.
- How do you envision the whole day?
- What atmosphere are you going for? Formal or casual?
- How late would you like to extend the reception? You will find that many venues have a curfew.
- Do you prefer a sit-down dinner or buffet style?
- How many events would you like to host before/after the wedding day?
The more details you send to your potential vendors, the better your chances of finding the perfect team to work with your flair and personality.
