Thanks to Karly and Peter for sharing their story and their Rancho Pescadero romantic and festive wedding!
Peter and I first met at a club in Los Angeles, which is funny because that was one of the few times I've ever step foot in a club. There was an immediate connection between the two of us, Peter even shoved his friend out of the way to introduce himself to me. Peter went to high school with one of my best friends and after we started dating we realized we had probably been in the same room at least a dozen times before we actually met. Just goes to show that timing is everything!

I will never forget Peter and I standing barefoot on the sand in the sunset in front of our family and closest friends reading our own vows to each other. The words that Peter spoke to me were so touching and heartfelt, I couldn't believe he had been taking notes of all the little things he loves about me throughout our 4 years of dating so he could tell me on our special day. Our ceremony was so personal and loving and it was so emotional for Peter and I to share our love and commitment to each other with our favorite people.

I love this photo because it really captures the spirit of the day and what a beautiful setting we were able to get married in.

Their advice for future couples choosing a destination wedding:
if you're even considering doing a destination wedding....do it! Getting away from it all to spend quality time with your closest friends and family is priceless. Being away from home give you the opportunity to focus on the beautiful moments that are happening all around. Once you're there, you're there and all there is to do is enjoy the setting and the company. The people that matter will make the effort to be there if they can, and even thank you for the holiday you've created for them!

Los Cabos wedding planners
Last month, we were very lucky to work with amazing couples. As wedding professionals who have been working for more than 10 years in destination weddings and in the Los Cabos area, people always ask us about the secrets for a perfect wedding and if there is any trick or shortcut to success. In our experience, we think that the best weddings are those where people play the most important role. Taking that into consideration, all details are planned and taken care of, from the personalized welcome notes, to the tasteful, original menus and gracious mind-blowing decor.
We strongly believe that a wedding should be a reflection of the couple and that it should focus on celebrating love, friends and family. Working with our clients' vision has enabled us to create amazing events, fun fiestas, beautiful weekends and memorable experiences. If you are newly engaged, our advice is to focus on what's important to you personally and as a couple. Think about what it is that you want to pass on to your guests, about how you want to feel and how you want them to experience the weekend. Being honest with those feelings and desires will help you find the perfect wedding professionals for you to trust so you can focus on what is truly important.

How many speeches should we plan to have on the wedding?
Tradition states that the father of the bride, the best man and the maid of honor should give a toast to the couple during the wedding reception. Nevertheless, we highly suggest keeping speeches to a strict minimum, as they can take a good portion of the fiesta even when you plan for "very short speeches".
Certainly this is a very personal decision to make and you will decide what's most important for you as a couple. On the same note, we highly recommend to have most (or even all) of the speeches during the rehearsal dinner. Remember that destination weddings work a little different: it's customary to invite all guests to the rehearsal dinner and not only family members; this way you'll be able to greet everyone and have a very relaxed wedding day.
Happy weekend!

Right before Father's Day, we would like to honor all the amazing moments that we've been lucky enough to witness. Everyday we celebrate love, traditions, families and values. Speaking for Martha and myself, we feel that our fathers represent all of that since they are the foundation on which we stand; they represent the force we learn to create and the unconditional love that we believe in. And we feel immensely blessed to have two of the most amazing fathers in the universe!

Today's inspiration comes in colors and prints. Those 2 words make me very happy because I truly love colors and I enjoy exploring patterns and prints, particularly in fabrics. I can get lost in a fabric store for hours without even noticing. When working with colors for your Los Cabos wedding, we like to incorporate them in the details, using natural materials and fabrics. Below you'll find a couple of palettes that inspire me.
1 - Orange and pink is a beautiful, fresh combination and very easy to achieve since the color combination of flowers is always available in Cabo. I really like the hint of green on this fabric; it gives it a very soft and fresh feeling. Think of colorful printed napkins, combined with casually elegant flowers centerpieces for a very relaxed look.

2- Gray and yellow has been in the racks for a couple of years now, and I never get tired of it. We can do many variations of this palette and it can work either as a very casual setting or as a more sophisticated one. Think of a very nice table runner, cute printed menus, escort cards, you name it!

3- Nothing says Cabo wedding better than aqua. It is always fresh, vibrant and happy! This color palette is perfect for an outside setting.
